Job summary

The Pennant Group's senior living community is seeking a Wellness Coordinator to supervise wellness staff, support resident health, and promote wellness programs.

You will provide direct care as needed and help ensure compliance with regulations, collaborating with the Wellness Director and Executive Director to maintain safety and quality of care. A current license/certification and CPR are required with at least one year of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Current license/certification as required by regulatory bodies.
• Minimum of one year of experience in assisted living or health care.
• Prior supervisory experience in the health care environment strongly preferred.
• Current CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on supervision of Wellness staff and ensure quality resident care.
• Provide direct care to residents as needed to support health and safety.
• Support compliance with community policies, procedures and regulations.
• Participate in staff meetings and continuing education in-services.
• Assist in recruitment, training and ongoing education of Wellness staff.
• Ensure infection control guidelines are met and surveillance is maintained.
