Job summary

The Phoenix at Lake Joy, part of Phoenix Senior Living, is seeking an RN/LPN to join the team as a Wellness Director. This role leads the health and well-being of residents, directing clinical programs, QA and regulatory compliance, and training care staff.

Collaboration with the Regional Director of Resident Care includes medication management training where permitted. The ideal candidate holds an RN or LPN license with an Associate or Bachelor’s degree, and demonstrates at least two years of

Qualifications

• Must have leadership capabilities in a healthcare setting.
• Minimum 2 years of department management experience with elders or disabled individuals.
• Experience in multi-department settings is strongly recommended.
• Knowledge of Assisted Living, Dementia care or Skilled Nursing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and management of residents' health and well-being.
• Oversee clinical programs, quality assurance and regulatory compliance.
• Assist in training and onboarding of clinical and care coordinator staff.
• Partner with the Regional Director of Resident Care to support Medication Care Manager training where allowed.
