Job summary

MorningStar Senior Living seeks a Wellness Director (RN/LPN) in Henderson, NV, full-time. You will lead clinical operations, supervise the care team, and ensure the health and well‑being of residents through assessments and individualized care plans.

The role requires a current RN or LPN license, a year of elderly care experience, and a commitment to MorningStar’s culture and values. Regular Monday–Friday schedule with on‑call duties supports resident safety.

Qualifications

• Current Nursing License issued by state licensing agency (RN or LPN).
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working with the elderly in an assisted living, skilled nursing or hospital environment preferred.
• Continuing Education as required by law and in-service trainings within the community.
• Strong knowledge of nursing processes, resident care planning, and medication administration.
• Must read and understand safety, operating and maintenance instructions, and demonstrate good English communication.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day healthcare operations across the community.
• Directly supervise healthcare staff and coordinate with care teams and families.
• Initiate individualized service plans and monitor care effectiveness.
• Conduct regular resident assessments and maintain ongoing communication with residents, families, and MorningStar care team.
• Manage staffing, on‑call duties, and ensure infection control guidelines are followed.
