Job summary

MorningStar Senior Living is seeking a Wellness Director (RN/LPN) in Henderson, NV, to lead clinical operations and supervise care team members in a full-time role. The position includes oversight of resident health assessments, individualized care planning, and on-going communication with residents, families, and care staff.

The role requires a current nursing license (RN or LPN) and First Aid certification, with at least 1 year of elderly-care experience.

Qualifications

• Current Nursing License issued by state licensing agency and First Aid certification as required.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working with the elderly in an assisted living, skilled nursing or hospital environment preferred.
• Must be able to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and related documents.

Responsibilities

• Lead clinical operations for daily resident healthcare services and supervise the Assisted Living Coordinator and related staff.
• Oversee health assessments, care planning, and ensure timely delivery of services to residents.
• Manage medication administration and schedules; coordinate with physicians, families, and providers.
• Conduct on-site assessments and maintain communication with resident families and care team.
• Ensure infection control guidelines are followed and regulatory standards met.
