Job summary

Holland Village in Pennsylvania is seeking a Transportation and Scheduling Coordinator to support residents’ mobility, coordinate vehicle usage, and ensure safe, timely transport to appointments.

You will oversee driver schedules, assist residents entering and exiting vehicles, maintain vehicles, and prepare monthly transportation reports.

This role requires compassion, reliability, and ability to work with a team in a senior living environment.

Responsibilities

• Assure the facility vehicles are clean and properly maintained.
• Fill vehicle with gasoline at pre-approved service stations.
• Assists as back up driver when one is not available to take residents to appointments.
• Assist residents in and out of the vehicle using the wheelchair lifts and/or stairs.
• Ensure residents are safely seated with seat belts or in wheelchair locking mechanisms.
• Account for all residents' presence when leaving or returning to the Community.
• Follow up with SNF residents with doctor appointments. Scheduling of doctor appointments
• Oversees driving staff schedules.
• Composes reports for monthly records.
• Call residents' rooms for morning reminders.
• Assist residents in wheelchairs during activities outside the Community.
