Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities is seeking a Transportation Coordinator (Driver) to deliver a structured, resident-focused transportation program within the community. This role goes beyond driving to coordinating transportation scheduling, resident communication, and operational support.

Responsibilities include driving on designated days, managing requests in the digital system, maintaining vehicles, and assisting with outings and events while following safety protocols and community

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be 21 years of age and have a minimum of 3 years of licensed driving experience.
• Must have a valid state Driver’s License (Class E) and Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
• Ability to safely operate passenger vehicles, buses, and mobility lift systems while assisting residents with mobility needs.
• Previous experience with older adults, transportation, or coordination preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides transportation services during scheduled work hours, including designated medical transportation days.
• Safely operate community vehicles to provide medical, recreational, and personal transportation to residents.
• Enter and manage transportation requests in the digital transportation management system, ensuring schedules are accurate and aligned with guidelines.
• Maintain vehicle readiness by completing routine inspections and ensuring vehicles are clean, fueled, and in good working condition.
• Support the Entertainment & Programming team with scheduled outings and events, including planning, logistics, resident participation, and safety protocols.
