Job summary

The Doliver of Tanglewood is looking for a dedicated Driver to provide safe, courteous transportation for residents of an independent living and assisted living community with memory care.

You will operate a 14-passenger vehicle, assist residents entering/exiting, follow safety procedures, and maintain vehicle readiness. Weekend and holiday availability is required; CDL preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1 year of related experience.
• Valid Driver’s License with an excellent driving record.
• Ability to operate a fourteen (14) passenger bus.
• CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive the community vehicle to and from assigned destinations.
• Help residents get into and out of the vehicle safely.
• Follow all operating safety procedures and observe all traffic laws.
• Secure passengers' wheelchairs to restraining devices to ensure stability during transport.
• Practice safe driving techniques at all times.
• Report any accidents or vehicle damage to the Executive Director or Manager on Duty.
