Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Driver to provide safe, caring transportation for seniors. You will transport residents to appointments and outings, assist in and out of vehicles, and maintain safety protocols.

Requirements include HS Diploma or GED, 21+, valid driver''s license, CPR (as required), strong communication and time management, and ability to operate wheelchair lift. Competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma/GED; age 21+
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
• CPR certification (as required)
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Ability to remain calm in emergencies
• Ability to operate wheelchair lift and secure mobility devices

Responsibilities

• Provide safe transportation to appointments and outings
• Assist residents in and out of vehicles and to destinations
• Maintain focus on safe driving at all times
• Conduct pre-trip and monthly vehicle inspections
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and safety equipment
• Complete required driving logs and documentation
• Report resident changes in condition
• Follow OSHA, infection control, and safety standards
• Assist with activities when not driving
