Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in Arlington, VA is seeking a Driver to provide safe, courteous transportation for residents, helping them in/out of vehicles and to activities. You’ll perform pre-trip inspections, maintain cleanliness, and document driving logs while upholding safety standards.

We seek a 21+ applicant with a valid license, clean record, and CPR certification if required. The role offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities within Sunrise’s senior transportation program.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• CPR certification preferred or required
• Ability to assist residents in/out of vehicles and operate a wheelchair lift

Responsibilities

• Provide safe transportation to appointments and outings
• Assist residents in and out of vehicles and to destinations
• Conduct pre-trip and monthly vehicle inspections
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and safety equipment
• Complete required driving logs and documentation
• Report resident changes in condition
• Follow OSHA, infection control, and safety standards
• Assist with activities when not driving
