Job summary

Tapestry Senior Living in Moon Township, PA is seeking a Driver to provide safe, courteous transportation for residents. This part-time role offers a $15 per hour wage and varied scheduling.

You will transport residents to appointments and events, assist with boarding and alighting, maintain vehicle cleanliness, and follow safety rules. A PA driver’s license and high school diploma are required, CPR preferred. Join a compassionate team and contribute to residents’ well-being.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Valid PA driver's license.
• No major traffic violations over the previous 5 years.
• Familiar roads in the service area.
• CPR certification (Preferred).

Responsibilities

• Safely transport residents to and from medical appointments, events, and other outings.
• Assist residents entering and exiting the vehicle with courtesy and support.
• Coordinate pick-up and drop-off times to ensure timely transportation.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and safety through regular inspections and reporting needs.
• Follow traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies while operating the vehicle.
• Communicate effectively with staff and residents to ensure smooth scheduling.
• Assist with loading and unloading mobility devices such as wheelchairs and walkers.

What You’ll Do

• Safely transport residents to and from medical appointments, community events, and other scheduled outings.
• Provide courteous, attentive, and supportive assistance to residents entering and exiting the vehicle.
• Coordinate pick-up and drop-off times to ensure timely and efficient transportation services.
• Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the transport vehicle by performing regular inspections and reporting any necessarymaintenance needs.
• Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies while operating the vehicle.
• Communicate effectively with staff and residents to ensure smooth scheduling and positive experiences.
• Assist with loading and unloading mobility devices such as wheelchairs and walkers as needed.

What you will need:
