S&S Transit Inc. is hiring for ACCESS Program drivers in North Versailles, PA 15137. The role offers full-time and part-time openings with a pay range of $20–$23+ per hour, plus overtime opportunities.

Local routes keep you home nightly and a DOT exam is fully covered by the company. Responsibilities include door-to-door shared-ride transport for seniors and clients with disabilities, assisting passengers, securing wheelchairs, and performing daily safety inspections while following scheduled

Qualifications

• Age: must be at least 21 years old for commercial insurance requirements.
• License: valid PA Driver's License with a clean driving record (no major infractions within 3 years).
• Background checks: PA Act 33/34 clearances and FBI fingerprinting if out-of-state in past 3 years.
• Health: ability to pass a standard DOT physical exam and drug screen (paid by the company).
• Physical: ability to assist passengers and securely maneuver wheelchairs on ramps and lifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, door-to-door, shared-ride transportation for seniors and disabled clients across Allegheny County.
• Assist passengers safely into and out of the vehicle.
• Secure wheelchairs and mobility devices using training train systems.
• Follow a pre-scheduled local routing system while maintaining punctuality.
• Perform routine daily pre-trip vehicle safety inspections.

ACCESS Program (No CDL Required) - Driver LIFT

Location: North Versailles, PA 15137 (Servicing local Allegheny County routes)
Position Type: Full-Time & Part-Time openings available
Compensation: $20 - $23+ per hour (Based on experience) + Overtime opportunities

What You Will Do

• Follow a pre-scheduled, manifest-driven local routing system while maintaining excellent on-time punctuality.
• Perform routine daily pre-trip vehicle safety inspections.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Age: Must be at least 21 years old (for commercial insurance requirements).
• License: Valid PA Driver's License with a clean driving record (no major infractions within the past 3 years).
• Background Checks: Must pass PA Act 33/34 clearances (Child Abuse and Criminal History) and FBI fingerprinting (if out of state resident within past 3 years.)
• Health: Ability to pass a standard DOT physical exam and drug screen (paid for by the company).
• Physical Ability: Able to assist passengers and securely maneuver wheelchairs on ramps and lifts.
