Job summary

Heritage Senior Living in Sikeston, MO, Aspire Senior Living is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to join our care team on a full-time day schedule. You will assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders in our senior residents, developing individualized treatment plans with evidence-based techniques.

You will work closely with an interdisciplinary team, provide direct patient care including individual and group therapy, document progress, and participate

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• ASHA certification in Missouri.
• Experience with seniors and cognitive disorders.
• Excellent communication and teamwork with healthcare staff.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and assessments of speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans with evidence-based techniques and strategies.
• Provide direct patient care, including individual and group therapy sessions, as well as consultation with other healthcare professionals.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care.
• Document patient progress and treatment plans, maintaining accurate records.
• Participate in team meetings to share knowledge and improve outcomes.
