As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will play a crucial role in our healthcare team, providing assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders in our senior residents. Speech-Language Pathologist will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans, utilizing a variety of evidence-based techniques and strategies. Conduct evaluations and assessments of speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, incorporating a range of evidence-based techniques and strategies
Provide direct patient care, including individual and group therapy sessions, as well as consultation with other healthcare professionals
Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care
Document patient progress and treatment plans, maintaining accurate and timely records
Participate in team meetings, sharing knowledge and expertise to improve patient outcomes
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
ASHA certification in Speech-Language Pathology in the state of Missouri
Experience working with senior populations and/or individuals with speech, language, and cognitive disorders
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and responsibilities while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy
