Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology.
• Valid Speech-Language Pathologist state license.

Responsibilities

• Provide, direct, or oversee SLP therapy to optimize communication, cognitive-linguistic abilities, and swallowing skills.
• Screen residents as appropriate and evaluate patients referred for therapy.
• Develop and monitor initial and ongoing treatment plans of care; create discharge plans.
• Supervise Rehab techs and therapy assistants; manage group and individual sessions.
• Maintain accurate billing and documentation in the medical record according to guidelines.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure patient-centered care.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and Reliant Rehabilitation policies.
• Travel between facilities during scheduled hours and maintain confidentiality.
