Job summary

Oakmont of Folsom seeks a Sous Chef to join our premier senior living community. You will prepare food per approved menu, maintain quality, and support the Culinary Services Director.

Shifts include 6am-2pm or 11am-7:15pm; pay range $24-$25 hourly. Requires 18+, HS diploma, and at least 6 months cooking experience; benefits and growth opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework in food service/management preferred.
• At least 6 months experience in a restaurant or as a cook.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals per approved menu and standards.
• Assist with planning, prep, and delivery of meals for community events.
• Maintain sanitary work environment and compliance with policies.
• Assist in inventory and stock control.
• Attend to residents' preferences and dietary needs.
