Unidine is hiring for a full-time SOUS CHEF at Broadwell Senior Living in Plymouth, MN. The position requires prior catering and line cook experience in a healthcare setting.

Schedule includes day and evening shifts with rotating weekends; pay ranges from $23.00 to $25.00 per hour. The role involves assisting the Executive Chef, coordinating cooks and food-service staff, and ensuring food quality, safety and timely service in a healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Prior catering and line cook experience in a healthcare setting.
• Willingness to work day and evening shifts, including rotating weekends.
• Ability to coordinate cooks and food-service staff.

Responsibilities

• Cooks and prepares food following approved recipes and production standards.
• Supervises hourly food service associates and participates in interviews, scheduling, payroll, training and reviews.
• Stores food properly and ensures sanitation and food safety compliance.
• Ensures proper food handling, portioning and serving temperatures.
• Maintains sanitation of equipment, supplies and workstation; keeps display area clean during service.
• Interacts with customers to resolve complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Explains daily menu items to associates and customers.
• Keeps up with peak production and service hours.
• Monitors inventory and deliveries; tracks production and waste; informs supervisor when supplies are low.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
