Job summary

CommonSail Investment Group is seeking a Shuttle Bus Driver in Madison Heights, MI. This part-time role requires driving a shuttle responsibly for senior residents at Independence Village of Madison Heights. Schedule is Wednesdays and Thursdays, 8:30am-4pm, with a pay rate of $16 per hour.

The driver will assist residents on/off the bus, complete logs, keep the vehicle clean, and follow safety procedures while maintaining a friendly, patient attitude and flexibility for possible additional hours.

Qualifications

• 3 years driving a shuttle, bus, or similar vehicle.
• Chauffeur's License; must have a clean driving record.
• Compassionate & Care for seniors.
• Ability to be timely, patient, and accommodating; ability to maintain a bus schedule and is familiar with the local area.
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, which may include evening, weekend, and holiday hours.
• You love to laugh and have fun while working hard to provide excellent service.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents getting on and off the bus, using safe methods for assistance.
• Completes bus trip log; runs route safely and efficiently; prioritize routes for productivity.
• Maintains cleanliness of interior and exterior of the bus.
• Fills out daily inspection log at the start of each trip and submits it.
• Maintain a positive attitude to support team performance and productivity.
