Job summary

Provincial Senior Living in Ridgeland, MS is seeking a Driver to provide timely and courteous transportation for residents to activities and appointments.

You will assist passengers, secure wheelchairs, maintain vehicles, and communicate with the base station. A high school diploma and 21+ years old are required; a CDL may be needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service environment, preferably in a senior living setting.
• Must be knowledgeable of all safety precautions and comply with safety measures.
• Competent in organization, time management skills and handling multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely and courteous transportation for residents to activities and appointments.
• Assist disabled passengers into and out of the vehicle.
• Secure passengers' wheelchairs to restraining devices to stabilize wheelchairs during trips.
• Operate radio, cell phone, or pager to communicate with base station or other vehicles.
• Maintain community vehicles in good working condition.
• Clean and service vehicle with fuel, lubricants, and accessories.
• Assist with vehicle registration and license plates renewal process.
• Inspect and document vehicle condition on a monthly and per trip basis.
