Job summary

Bickford Senior Living in Oswego, IL is hiring a Server to support our culinary team in a restaurant-style setting called the Bread Basket. This role serves meals, interacts with residents during dining, and helps maintain a clean dining area.

Full-time and part-time opportunities exist, with pay available daily and a suite of benefits based on status. Qualifications include a Food Handlers Card (or willingness to obtain one), strong communication, multitasking, and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and friendly interaction with residents.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities in a dining environment.
• Capable of following procedures and maintaining cleanliness.
• Willing to obtain a Food Handlers Card if not already held.
• Demonstrates good judgment and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve meals in a timely manner following established steps.
• Engage with residents in the Dining Room to enhance their dining experience.
• Wash dishes, pots and pans per procedures.
• Complete tasks from Kitchen Rotational Cleaning Schedule.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining room and dish area.
