Job summary

Bickford Senior Living is seeking a Cook to support the Kitchen Manager and prepare meals for residents in a restaurant-style setting called the Bread Basket. You’ll help ensure timely service, proper temperatures, and appealing plating while interacting with residents to enhance their dining experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals following menus, processes, and expectations.
• Serve food timely, at correct temperatures, and appropriately plated.
• Ensure kitchen procedures are followed during meal service.
• Interact with residents in the dining room to enhance dining experience.
• Wash dishes, pots, and pans per dishwashing procedure.
• Follow the Kitchen Daily Task Guide.
• Track resident diets, allergies, and preferences using Meal Order Information form.
• Maintain food service records per regulatory requirements and policies.
• Store food per regulatory requirements and policies.
• Complete tasks from the Kitchen Rotational Cleaning Schedule.
• Maintain kitchen and dining room cleanliness to meet standards.
• Ensure Bistro/Beverage Bar is stocked with refreshments.
• Coordinate with Kitchen Manager for tours and events.
