Job summary

Oakmont Management Group, a premier operator of senior living communities, seeks an energetic Server to provide friendly dining service to residents and visitors. The role includes taking orders, delivering meals, and maintaining dining area standards to enhance the resident experience.

The position offers part-time and full-time shifts in California, with benefits and a supportive team culture. Prior service experience is helpful, but training is provided to the right candidate and background

Qualifications

• Experience is preferred but not necessary; we will train the right candidate.
• Must be at least 16 years of age with a work permit.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
• Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests.
• Vaccination and PPE protocols may be required per regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Serve residents, family members, and visitors in a professional, dignified, efficient, and courteous manner.
• Accurately take residents' and guests’ food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system.
• Set up and break down (bus) tables.
• Adhere to proper serving techniques and etiquette.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for staff, residents, and guests.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with coworkers and other departments.
