Job summary

Oakmont Management Group is hiring a Server at Oakmont of El Dorado Hills in California. You will serve residents and guests with courtesy, take orders, and input them into the POS while maintaining a clean, safe dining area.

Qualifications include being at least 16 with a work permit, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a genuine desire to support the elderly. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, time off, meals, life insurance, retirement plan, and more.

Qualifications

• Experience is preferred but not necessary; we will train the right candidate.
• Must be at least 16 years of age with a work permit.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including TB tests.
• Vaccination/testing requirements may be required per safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Serve residents, family members, and visitors in a professional, dignified, efficient, and courteous manner.
• Accurately and professionally take residents' and guests' food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS.
• Set up and bus tables.
• Assure compliance with proper serving techniques/etiquette (e.g. serving from left, clearing used dishes between courses).
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.
