Job summary

Blacksmith Agency is seeking an experienced SEO Manager, Senior Living, to own search for a book of senior living clients. You will set the technical roadmap, determine content priorities, and defend ranking narratives to clients. You will lead strategic decisions as the main voice at the table.

You will manage technical SEO, on-page optimization, and AI-assisted content workflows with writers. Remote role serving US clients with multi-location needs, using GA4 and standard SEO tools.

Qualifications

3+ years hands-on in SEO.
Fluency with Search Console, GA4, Screaming Frog and Ahrefs or Semrush.
Agency experience across several clients.
Clear spoken English with US clients on live calls.
SEO for senior living or similar multi-location businesses is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

Own technical SEO: crawl, indexation, site speed, schema and site architecture.
Lead keyword strategy, on-page optimization and content priorities, with writers and AI producing the drafts.
Getting clients found in AI search: Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT and Perplexity, alongside classic organic results.
Links, local search and multi-location SEO where the client needs it.
Reporting in GA4 and Search Console, and the quarterly roadmap for each client.
