Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Good verbal and written communication and teamwork.
• Experience as a security guard or similar role.
• Security officer training with diploma.
• Strong knowledge of public safety procedures.
• Surveillance skills with attention to detail.
• Integrity and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Protect property and staff by maintaining a safe environment.
• Observe for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances.
• Act lawfully in defense of life or property.
• Take accurate notes and develop reports for leadership.
• Report any suspicious incidents in detail.
• Patrol building and perimeter regularly.
• Monitor access at entrances and vehicle gates.
• Watch alarm systems and operate emergency equipment.
