Securitas is seeking a Security Officer to maintain a safe environment in Tucson, AZ. The role involves monitoring premises, access control, and patrolling across client sites, ensuring compliance with post orders and directives.

Ideal candidates excel in customer service and teamwork, can remain calm under pressure, and meet the basic requirements. This is a full-time position with pre-employment screening and training provided.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Monitor premises and perform access control and patrolling as assigned.
• Identify and report safety issues or suspicious activity.
• Ensure post orders are followed and rounds are completed.
• Front desk tasks: badge creation, phone handling, and visitor management.
• Provide customer service and information to employees and guests.
• Operate technology devices used during shift.
• Conduct property tours as required.

Security Officer - Full Time

Primary Location: Tucson, AZ

Wage: $20.00/HR

TheSecurity Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including access control and patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for our client sites pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.

What You Can Expect:

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation.
• Frequent interactions with client employees and guests.
• Identify and report safety issues, hazardous conditions, or any suspicious activity.
• Ensure that all post orders are followed and assigned rounds are completed.
• Front desk / access control duties such as creating badges for visitors and answering phones.
• Provide customer service and information to the client’s employees and guests.
• Utilizing technology devices throughout shift.
• Conduct tours of the property.
• Carry out specific tasks and duties of similar nature and scope as required for assigned site.

Basic Requirements:

• 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed - smart phone usage.
• Security, Law Enforcement, or Military experience a plus.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Must be able to remain calm and professional during stressful situations.
• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• All candidates must be willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
• Must have the ability to walk and stand for long periods of time.
