Five Star Senior Living in Tucson, AZ is seeking a diligent Security Guard to join our large senior living community. You will help maintain a safe, welcoming environment for residents, families, and staff.

Responsibilities include patrolling, monitoring entrances, responding to incidents, and documenting findings. The role requires a high school diploma and proven security experience; we value reliability, clear communication, and a professional demeanor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing and cooperate with others.
• Proven work experience as a security guard or similar role.
• Trained security officer with diploma preferred.
• Excellent knowledge of public safety and security procedures.
• Surveillance skills with attention to detail.
• Demonstrated integrity and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Protect property and staff by maintaining a safe and secure environment.
• Observe for signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances.
• Act lawfully in defense of life or property.
• Take accurate notes and develop reports for leadership.
• Report any suspicious incidents in detail (verbal and written).
• Patrol building and perimeter randomly and regularly.
• Monitor and control access at entrances and vehicle gates.
• Watch alarm systems or cameras and operate emergency equipment.
