Job summary

Cogir Senior Living in Potomac, MD is seeking a Community Relations Coordinator to ensure smooth move-ins and accurate representation to referral sources. You will leverage knowledge of services to promote the community and build strong relationships with residents, families, and partners.

Ideal candidates are empathetic, detail-oriented, with at least 2 years in retirement housing or healthcare sales, able to work evenings or weekends, and proficient with CRM systems like Yardi and MS Office.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent.
• 2+ years in retirement housing, hospitality, or healthcare sales and marketing.
• Proven success in achieving sales goals and quotas.
• Positive team player with a passion for serving seniors.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment; may require evenings/weekends.
• Proficient with Excel, Word, Outlook; Yardi experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Community Relations Director in lead acquisition and census growth.
• Qualify prospects and convert tours to deposits via the sales process.
• Handle inbound inquiries (phone, walk-in, mail) and update CRM.
• Give tours and share marketing information with prospective residents and families.
• Prepare routine and special sales/marketing reports.
• Follow up with potential residents and referral sources.
• Prepare and maintain sales activity boards and reports.
• Assist with move-in paperwork and processing.
• Aid residents and families with move-in adjustments.
• Maintain Yardi CRM accurately and timely.
• Foster relationships with residents and staff to ensure satisfaction.
• Understand care regulations for proper placement and education of prospects.
• Assist with setting up and tearing down events.
