Job summary

LifeSpire of Virginia is seeking a Programming Activities Manager in healthcare to lead activity programs across assisted living, memory care and healthcare/SNF settings. You will plan schedules, coordinate staff and volunteers, and ensure programs meet residents' cognitive, functional and social needs.

The role requires experience in senior living activities, CTRS/ADC certification preferred, and strong communication with residents, families and staff.

Qualifications

• One year of experience in a social or recreational program within the last five years.
• CTRS or ADC certification preferred.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills and ability to work independently.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families and staff.
• Experience with senior living activities and comfort with computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule programming for AL, memory care and HC/SNF.
• Supervise coordinators and program staff; coordinate calendars and newsletters.
• Develop monthly staff schedules and ensure staff training via Relias Learning.
• Coordinate volunteers and oversee programming budget and supplies.
• Collaborate with residents, staff and community resources to meet needs.
• Ensure compliance with federal/state regulations and maintain program quality.
