Job summary

Cedar Crest Village by Erickson Senior Living is seeking Per Diem and Part Time Registered Nurses in Pompton Plains, NJ. Compensation ranges from $40.00 to $49.00 per hour, with a $2,000 sign-on bonus for part-time roles.

Responsibilities include clinical duties, care planning, medication administration, and resident/family education in a multi-level care setting. We offer competitive benefits, including paid CEUs, 401k, and onsite medical centers.

Qualifications

• Must have an active RN license in the state they will practice and graduate from an accredited Registered Nurse program.
• Must have a minimum of 6 months experience as an RN.
• A passion for caring for seniors.
• Experience with an electronic medical record is preferred.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with residents and their families using a consistent caregiver approach.
• Perform all clinical duties in accordance with the state nurse practice act and nursing standards of practice.
• Promote residents’ independence by establishing care goals and educating residents/family members.
• Monitor resident conditions and respond to changes to ensure comfort and safety.
• Collaborate with care associates to perform routine nursing care.
• Maintain infection prevention practices and administer medications as ordered.
• Develop and coordinate a holistic care plan with the interdisciplinary team.
• Document care in the resident’s EMR and ensure accuracy.
• Participate in care conferences as requested by Clinical Manager.
