Job summary

Erickson Senior Living’s Windsor Run in Matthews, NC is seeking an Registered Nurse (RN) to promote residents’ health and wellbeing. You will collaborate with providers and interdisciplinary teams to deliver direct patient care and family education.

Key tasks include clinical duties, care plan development, and documentation in EMR, with focus on safety and resident independence. This role offers FT Day/Night and PRN shifts, with strong growth potential within a growing senior care network.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months experience as an RN.
• Experience caring for seniors or with cognitive impairment preferred.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office, internet and web apps.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with residents and families using a caregiver approach.
• Perform clinical duties per state nurse practice act and standards.
• Promote independence by teaching residents and families about conditions, meds, and self-care.
• Monitor resident status and changes to ensure comfort and safety.
• Work with care associates to provide routine nursing care as needed.
• Maintain infection prevention, administer medications, and treatments per orders.
• Coordinate holistic care plans with interdisciplinary team.
• Support resident preferences in the EMR.
• Ensure documentation is current and timely.
• Participate in care conferences as requested by Clinical Manager.
