Riderwood Village by Erickson Senior Living seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) PRN to join our Assisted Living and Skilled Nursing communities. Provide compassionate care, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, and support residents and families.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the State of Maryland.
• Minimum 6 months experience as an RN.
• Experience with seniors or cognitively impaired adults preferred.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office and web apps.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with residents and families using a consistent caregiver approach.
• Perform all clinical duties in accordance with state nurse practice act and standards of practice.
• Promote residents' independence by setting care goals and teaching residents/families.
• Monitor residents' health status and respond to changes to ensure comfort and safety.
• Collaborate with care associates to provide routine nursing care.
• Maintain infection prevention practices and administer medications as ordered.
• Develop and coordinate holistic care plans with the care team.
• Document preferences and care in the electronic medical record.
• Ensure documentation is current, accurate, and timely.
• Participate in care conferences as requested by Clinical Manager.
