Job summary

Windsor Run by Erickson Senior Living in Matthews, NC is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to promote, restore, and maintain residents’ health by collaborating with providers, interdisciplinary teams, and care associates.

The RN will deliver physical and psychosocial support to residents and families, following state nurse practice acts and standards, with on-site FT Day (12pm-8pm) and PRN shifts. Active RN license and CPR certification are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months experience as an RN.
• Experience caring for seniors or seniors with cognitive impairment preferred.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office and internet/web apps.
• EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with residents and families using a consistent caregiver approach.
• Perform clinical duties in line with state nurse practice act and standards.
• Promote independence by teaching care goals to residents and families.
• Monitor residents’ conditions and respond to changes for comfort and safety.
• Administer medications and maintain infection prevention practices.
