Westchester Village in Lenexa, KS is seeking an RN to provide comprehensive nursing care for residents across independent, assisted, and long-term care levels. You will communicate with families, physicians, and health professionals to coordinate care and ensure safety and quality.

The role emphasizes adherence to federal, state, and internal policies, with opportunities for professional development and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• RN must be licensed in the state of work and maintain licensure and CEU requirements.
• Preferably 1–2 years of nursing experience in Long Term Care or Skilled Nursing Facility, but not required.
• CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality nursing care in accordance with Federal, State, and Company requirements based on resident acuity.
• Make daily rounds to assess resident condition and comfort.
• Follow safety policies to ensure resident safety and infection control.
• Initiate procedures to protect residents from injury and infection.
• Assess changes in condition and institute appropriate interventions.
• Communicate with physicians and ensure follow-through; hand off to oncoming shift.
