Job summary

Jaybird Senior Living seeks a Healthcare Coordinator (RN) to partner with the Community Director in delivering exceptional, people-centered care across our senior living communities. You will lead the resident care team, oversee care programs, and ensure compliance with state regulations and HIPAA guidelines.

In this role you will recruit, train, and evaluate staff, monitor medication management, maintain EHR/eMAR documentation, and communicate with physicians and families to coordinate care.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current state license.
• 2+ years healthcare management experience in senior living, retirement communities, or long-term care.
• Minimum 1 year experience supporting residents with dementia.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and overnight if needed.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents’ needs and create individualized service plans.
• Coordinate all aspects of resident care, including EHR and eMAR documentation.
• Monitor medication management and complete regular reviews.
• Communicate proactively with physicians, families, and staff regarding health concerns.
• Recruit, hire, train, supervise, and evaluate Resident Assistants and healthcare staff.
• Lead new hire onboarding, staff in-services, and ongoing training.
• Ensure regulatory compliance, safety, and proper use of protective equipment.
• Review, document, and follow up on incident reports.
• Manage healthcare department budgets, staffing schedules, and medical inventory.
• Provide 24/7 on-call support for resident emergencies and community needs.
