Job summary

Jaybird Senior Living is seeking a Healthcare Coordinator, RN, to partner with the Community Director and lead the resident care team in a supportive senior living environment. You will oversee care programs, ensure regulatory compliance and HIPAA, and coordinate all care aspects, including EHR/eMAR documentation and medication reviews.

Requires RN licensure, CPR, 4+ years healthcare management, 2+ years dementia support, and flexibility for weekends or overnight shifts; benefits include health

Qualifications

• RN licensed in the state with CPR certification.
• 4+ years healthcare management experience in senior living.
• Minimum 2 years supporting residents with dementia.
• Strong leadership, organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends/overnight.
• Familiarity with HIPAA and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents’ needs and create individualized service plans.
• Coordinate all aspects of resident care, including EHR and eMAR documentation.
• Monitor medication management and complete regular reviews.
• Communicate proactively with physicians, families, and staff regarding health concerns.
• Recruit, hire, train, supervise, and evaluate Resident Assistants and healthcare staff.
• Lead new hire onboarding, staff in-services, and ongoing training.
• Ensure regulatory compliance, safety, and proper use of protective equipment.
• Review, document, and follow up on incident reports.
• Manage healthcare department budgets, staffing schedules, and medical inventory.
• Provide 24/7 on-call support for resident emergencies and community needs.
