• Understanding of revenue cycle, billing, and management principles.
• Proficient in Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Experience with Billing/Claims processing software.
• Meet deadlines, multi-task, and maintain high attention to detail.
• Take initiative, be assertive, and use resources to complete tasks.
• Know federal and state regulations and requirements.
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Read and interpret reports, directives, and policies.
• Solid basic math, including percent, averages, and ratios.
• High efficiency and accuracy with data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Manage revenue cycle operations, billing, and related recording and reporting.
• Ensure timely insurance authorizations and submissions (Medicare/Medicaid).
• Gather/import authorizations, charges, and various service lines; drive collections.
• Perform month-end and year-end closings; resolve account questions and denials.
• Audit processes and financials; analyze department controls and procedures.
