Monarch Healthcare Management is seeking a Therapeutic Recreation Aide to support the Therapeutic Recreation Director by delivering daily therapeutic programming that aligns with each resident’s individualized plan of care and enhances their overall quality of life.

You will lead group and one-on-one activities tailored to residents’ interests and abilities, maintain activity calendars, assist with transporting residents for in-facility and off-site events, and document participation to support

Qualifications

• Passion for senior care and advocating for residents' well-being.
• Ability to connect with residents, families, and staff with empathy and active listening.
• Experience in healthcare settings is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver daily therapeutic programming aligned with each resident’s care plan.
• Lead group and one-on-one activities tailored to residents’ interests.
• Maintain activity calendars and adjust schedules as census changes.
• Assist with transporting residents during in-facility and off-site events.
• Document participation and progress for care coordination.
• Ensure HIPAA, infection control, safety, and QAPI compliance.
