Job summary

Monarch Healthcare Management is seeking a Therapeutic Recreation Aide to support the Therapeutic Recreation Director by delivering daily therapeutic programming aligned with residents’ individualized care plans and enhancing their quality of life.

You will facilitate group and one-on-one activities tailored to residents’ interests, maintain calendars, assist with transportation for in-facility and off-site events, and document participation while upholding HIPAA, safety, and infection control

Qualifications

• Passion for caring for seniors and advocating for their well-being.
• Strong ability to connect with residents, families, and staff.
• Background in healthcare settings is beneficial.
• Clear English communication and multitasking in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Deliver daily therapeutic programming aligned with each resident’s care plan.
• Maintain and adjust activity calendars based on census and events.
• Assist with transporting residents during in-facility and off-site activities.
• Document participation and progress; contribute to care coordination.
• Adhere to HIPAA, infection control, safety protocols and QAPI requirements.
