Job summary

The Kensington Sierra Madre in Sierra Madre, California, part of Prava Therapy, is looking for a Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team.

Under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, you will deliver skilled interventions to help residents move with greater safety and independence, while building relationships with residents, families, and an interdisciplinary care team.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled physical therapy interventions per plan of care.
• Help residents improve strength, balance, gait, transfers, endurance, mobility.
• Use meaningful activities to help residents reach goals.
• Incorporate residents' environment and daily routines into treatment.
• Communicate changes in status to the supervising PT and team.
• Collaborate with PTs, OTs, nursing, caregivers, families, and leadership.
• Document efficiently using Prava's technology and AI-enabled tools.
• Support a culture of clinical excellence and resident experience.
• Help create therapy presence across the community.
