LHC Group is seeking a Senior Living Physical Therapist Assistant to provide age-appropriate services for adult to geriatric patients under the supervision of a Physical Therapist. The PTA assists in carrying out treatment plans, supervises students, and delivers direct patient care per facility policies.

Responsibilities include safe equipment use, adherence to medical regimens, and patient/family instruction. CPR certification may be required within 90 days of hire.

Competenze

• Current, licensed, registered, or certified to assist in the practice of physical therapy in state of practice.
• Available to work a weekend rotation.
• Current CPR certification or ability to complete within 90 days of hire.

• Utilizes equipment in a proper and safe manner; maintains logs and reports faults.
• Follows medical regimens and precautions; handles transfers and mobility tasks.
• Provides patient/family instruction; documents services per policies.
• Direct patient care as part of the Physical Therapy plan.
