Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Senior Living Physical Therapist Assistant to provide age-appropriate services for adult to geriatric patients under the supervision of a Physical Therapist. The PTA assists with the treatment plan, supervises students or technicians, and delivers patient/family instruction in accordance with facility policies.

Responsibilities include safe equipment use, following care regimens, and performing transfers and mobility tasks.

Qualifications

• Licensed to assist in physical therapy in the state of practice.
• Weekend rotation availability.
• CPR certification or ability to obtain within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide age-appropriate PT-related services for adults to geriatric patients under supervision.
• Carry out treatment plans and supervise PTA students or technicians.
• Document services and provide patient/family instruction per policies.
• Perform safe transfers, positioning and mobility tasks.
