Job summary

RHF’s Parmly Lakeview Apartments in Chisago City, MN seeks a Property Maintenance Technician to maintain the 60-unit community. Responsibilities include daily upkeep, unit turnovers, and safety compliance. 2+ years in building maintenance and boiler license required.

The role involves responding to service requests, inspections, and coordination with vendors in a part-time, 32‑hour work week. Competitive pay range offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in building maintenance.
• Familiarity with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Boiler license required for onsite boiler operation.
• Skilled with hand and power tools for repairs.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals.
• Familiarity with RealPage Maintenance Facilities.
• Basic proficiency in English for effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Maintain interior and exterior appearance of buildings and property via daily janitorial and upkeep tasks.
• Complete unit turnovers within 3 days of move-out when required.
• Perform painting and preventative maintenance per schedule.
• Assist with apartment inspections and systems inspections.
• Respond to work orders and document details in OneSite.
• Address maintenance emergencies, including after-hours, weekends and holidays.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues; repair appliances as needed.
• Coordinate with vendors and monitor landscape contractors.
• Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with regulations.
