Job summary

RHF is seeking a Property Maintenance Technician to maintain the physical condition and appearance of Northfield Manor, a 64-unit older adult residential community in Northfield, MN. The role supports daily property operations, addressing maintenance requests, turnover tasks, and preventative maintenance with a focus on resident satisfaction.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in building maintenance, possess a boiler license, and can troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in the building maintenance field.
• Must possess a valid boiler license for operation and maintenance.
• Familiarity with property management software such as RealPage Maintenance Facilities.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals.
• Proficient in using hand and power tools.
• Basic proficiency in English for effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Maintain interior and exterior appearance of buildings and property through daily maintenance and janitorial duties.
• Complete unit turnovers within 3 days of move-out when required.
• Perform painting and preventative maintenance per schedule.
• Assist in apartment and systems inspections as needed.
• Respond to work orders and enter details in the system.
• Address maintenance emergencies, including after-hours, weekends, and holidays.
