RHF (Retirement Housing Foundation) is seeking a Property Maintenance Technician for Parmly Lakeview Apartments in Chisago City, MN. This part-time role focuses on maintaining building interiors and exteriors, performing unit turnovers, painting, and preventative maintenance in a 60-unit older adult community.

You will respond to work orders, assist with inspections, and coordinate with vendors while upholding safety standards.

Formación

• Minimum of 2 years in the building maintenance field highly desired.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems preferred. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals.
• Must possess a valid boiler license required for the operation and maintenance of the onsite boiler.
• Skilled in using hand and power tools for repair and maintenance tasks.
• Basic understanding of leadership principles with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong logical thinking and problem-solving skills for troubleshooting issues.
• Familiarity with property management software such as RealPage Maintenance Facilities.
• Basic proficiency in English for effective communication.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain interior and exterior appearance of buildings and property through daily janitorial duties in common areas.
• Complete unit turnovers within 3 days of move-out, as necessary.
• Perform painting and preventative maintenance per schedule.
• Assist in apartment and systems inspections as required.
• Respond to work orders for units and common areas; enter details into OneSite.
• Address maintenance emergencies, including after-hours, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues, including appliance repairs.
• Monitor landscape contractor and coordinate with vendors to ensure satisfactory work.
• Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with regulations (REAC/NSPIRE knowledge).
• Provide excellent customer service to residents and internal stakeholders.
• Keep maintenance shop organized and secure property keys.
