Job summary

Halverson and Blaiser Group, Ltd. is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Eagan, MN to support the Community Manager by delivering effective maintenance and customer service for residents.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance, repairs to plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems, and ensuring safety and cleanliness across the portfolio. Candidates should have 2+ years in apartment maintenance, a valid Class C Minnesota driver’s license and boiler license, and be prepared to work flexible

Qualifications

• Education — Reading and literacy at high school level or above.
• Experience— 2 years minimum apartment maintenance experience or equivalent.
• Licensure/Certifications — Class C Minnesota Driver’s License and boiler license.
• HVAC—EPA I Universal License preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs according to resident requests in a timely and satisfactory manner.
• Implement and monitor preventive maintenance program for the property.
• Maintain plumbing, heating, and electrical systems and related components.
• Inspect and maintain boiler rooms, storage areas, and common areas for safety and cleanliness.
• Assist Community Manager with unit inspections and move-in/move-out checks.
• Document and report hazardous conditions and repair needs.
• Assist with on-site projects and coordination with contractors.
