Anchor Bay - East Providence is seeking a patient, innovative programmer to assist the Program Director in creating, scheduling and implementing programs for our residents. This role is part-time with a focus on meaningful daily programming and engagement for seniors in a home-like environment.

Qualifications

• Experience working with elderly and/or Alzheimer's populations preferred.
• Physical requirements: Standing, sitting, bending, and transferring residents (with and without assistance).
• Communication: An ability to communicate effectively with residents and co-workers.
• Punctuality & reliability – Our residents rely on us to assist them with their daily living activities and we expect our associates to deliver on this promise.

Responsibilities

• Form meaningful relationships with residents and families;
• Help implement and coordinate the balanced daily programming schedule for 7 days per week;
• Support with coordination of entertainment including guest lecturers, musicians, and fitness instructors;
• Participate in scheduled outings, ensuring safety of residents on transportation and off-site
• Support with developing monthly newsletter, taking photos, and updating social media
