Anchor Bay - East Providence is seeking a patient, innovative programmer to assist the Program Director in creating, scheduling and implementing programs for our residents.

Anchor Bay - East Providence's caring programming team provides meaningful engagement for seniors. The team enjoys a safe, home-like environment and has earned rankings from The Boston Globe and USA Today. Located at 1440 Wampanoag Trail, East Providence, RI 02915.

Qualifications

• Experience with elderly and/or Alzheimer's populations preferred.
• Physical requirements: Standing, sitting, bending, and transferring residents (with and without assistance).
• Communication: An ability to communicate effectively with residents and co-workers.
• Punctuality & reliability – Our residents rely on us to assist them with daily living activities.

Responsibilities

• Form meaningful relationships with residents and families.
• Help implement and coordinate the balanced daily programming schedule for 7 days per week.
• Support with coordination of entertainment including guest lecturers, musicians, and fitness instructors.
• Participate in scheduled outings, ensuring safety of residents on transportation and off-site.
• Support with developing monthly newsletter, taking photos, and updating social media

AVAILABLE SHIFTS:

Part Time: 10:30 AM - 5:00 PM with every other weekend

PAY & BENEFITS:

Rates start at $16 per hour
