The Clare in Chicago seeks a Manager of Plant Operations to lead the physical operations of our senior living community. You will oversee maintenance, safety and regulatory compliance to keep building systems, equipment, and grounds safe and well‑functioning for residents and staff.

Responsibilities include budgeting support, preventive maintenance planning, inspections, vendor coordination, and team leadership to ensure reliability and compliance with OSHA and life-safety codes.

Formación

• Requires high school diploma; technical or vocational training preferred.
• 3–5 years in plant operations or facilities management; supervisory exp preferred.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, safety regulations, and regulatory compliance.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for apartments/communities.
• Assist with budgeting and strategy for the maintenance department.
• Ensure timely response to service requests and building upkeep.
• Oversee HVAC, plumbing, electrical and general repairs.
• Lead and develop a team of plant operations staff; hiring and scheduling.
• Monitor move-ins/outs and coordinate contracted services.
