Job summary

Omnia Healthcare Group in Northlake, IL seeks a Director of Plant Operations to lead the maintenance department and coordinate housekeeping and laundry as needed. You will work with facility leadership to maintain the physical plant, equipment, grounds, and building systems while ensuring regulatory compliance and safety.

You will supervise maintenance staff, manage schedules and budgets, support inspections, respond to emergencies, and drive safe, reliable operations across the campus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; healthcare maintenance knowledge preferred.
• Experience supervising maintenance personnel preferred.
• Knowledge of healthcare facility maintenance, safety requirements, and regulatory standards preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise maintenance department personnel, including scheduling, training, and performance management.
• Coordinate housekeeping and laundry operations when required; participate in recruitment and onboarding.
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate with facility leadership on inspections and safety procedures.
• Maintain facility safety systems and ensure accurate records and documentation.
• Oversee maintenance records, work orders, inventories, and budgets.
