Job summary

Therapy Management Corporation (TMC) seeks a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to deliver person-centered occupational therapy to adult and geriatric populations. You will work with an OT to improve independence, mobility and quality of life in a collaborative clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Certification as a COTA and state licensure or licensure eligibility.
• Graduate of an accredited OTA program.
• Interest or experience in geriatric rehabilitation.
• Passion for patient-centered care and improving quality of life for older adults.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services under the direction of an Occupational Therapist to help patients improve functional independence, safety and overall quality of life
• Implement patient-centered treatment plans focused on ADLs, strength, mobility and adaptive techniques
• Help patients improve their ability to perform daily tasks such as dressing, bathing, grooming and meal preparation
• Partner with interdisciplinary teams, caregivers and nursing staff to support strong patient outcomes and continuity of care
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation, monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans based on individual rehabilitation needs
